A native of Hampton Roads, Beci started as a stylist while attending Elon College and
later graduating as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Math from Old Dominion
University. She went on to receive her cosmetology education from a Paul Mitchell
Partner School, learning that not only does she have natural talent, but a passion for
the Paul Mitchell culture. With the desire to share this culture with other stylists, she
certified as a Paul Mitchell National Educator in November 2008 with certifications in
The Color, PM Shines, Texture and Blonding Systems. Being a Paul Mitchell National
Educator has made her successful in all aspects of her life. Beci was the owner of
Color Bar Salon from May 2006-March 2011. You can always expect friendliness and
professionalism as she performs hair services on all hair types and lengths. She is a
master of hair with specialties in Modern Hi-Light / Block Color, Color, and Styling
techniques, plus short hair Cut and Design. She is also available for on location
weddings or special events.
Beci works with an apprentice, Natalie Hoelscher, who is available for services and is
also there to serve you during your visit.

*Since there is not a Master stylist classification in Virginia, stylist classifications are determined by salon management.
**Continuing education is a choice of the stylist, not the licensing board. Paul Mitchell Certified is a classification only available to
educators.
****Stylists are Licensed by the Virginia DPOR based on the criteria set forth by law. Apprentices are registered with the
Department of Labor & Industry AND are always under the direct supervision of a licensed stylist.
